Alexandra Lopes is the Textile Museum of Canada's Communications & Marketing Associate. She joined the TMC in May 2009 as an intern and later held the positions of Project Associate and Collections Associate.
In 2007, Alexandra graduated from McMaster University with an honours degree in Anthropology. She earned her Master of Museum Studies from the University of Toronto in June 2010. Alexandra facilitates the TMC’s advertising program, promotional material, and media relations. In addition to managing the TMC's corporate Website, Alexandra has worked collaboratively with TMC staff in the production of several of the Museum's online projects, including In Touch: Connecting Cloth, Culture + Art and Social Fabric.
