Margaret Ballantyne has a Master's Degree in Textiles from Tyler School of Art, Temple University in Philadelphia. Margaret's 37 year career in textiles includes conservation and exhibition preparation, teaching in Canada and the United States and exhibitions of her own textile work. Her conservation practice has included a full scale 16th century tapestry housed at Trinity College University of Toronto and two major contemporary textile works by Micheline Beauchemin housed in Ontario government buildings. Since 1994 Margaret has been the conservator at the Museum
