Ulrike Balke Re-naissance Renaissance Mixed media Ulrike Balke was born and raised in rural Thunder Bay and is an artist and designer living in Toronto. Her personal works explore the combining of traditional with electronic mediums and the various communication arts. Her interest in needlecrafts has resulted in stitching merging with painting, drawing and electronic artworks.
