Moira Clark Mantilla Acrylic paint, lace Moira Clark paints with acrylic and oil and is represented by XEXE Gallery in Toronto where her most recent solo exhibition was June 2008. She was a founder and member of Loop Gallery from 2001 to 2004 where she had three solo shows. In August 2004, Clark was an artist-in-residence at the Pouch Cove Residency in Newfoundland. In 2003, she had a retrospective of her paintings and prints at the Cambridge Gallery/Preston, Ontario. This year her work will be reproduced in the Magenta Publication Carte Blanche Vol. 2: Painting, a new book presenting contemporary painting in Canada. Clark has a BFA from York University and teaches painting at Sheridan College and the University of Toronto at Mississauga. Her work can be seen at the Centre for Contemporary Canadian Art.
