Moira Clark paints with acrylic and oil and is represented by XEXE Gallery in Toronto where her most recent solo exhibition was June 2008. She was a founder and member of Loop Gallery from 2001 to 2004 where she had three solo shows. In August 2004, Clark was an artist-in-residence at the Pouch Cove Residency in Newfoundland. In 2003, she had a retrospective of her paintings and prints at the Cambridge Gallery/Preston, Ontario. This year her work will be reproduced in the Magenta Publication Carte Blanche Vol. 2: Painting, a new book presenting contemporary painting in Canada. Clark has a BFA from York University and teaches painting at Sheridan College and the University of Toronto at Mississauga. Her work can be seen at the Centre for Contemporary Canadian Art.
