Kathryn Crowder Honey Bee Series #1 Fibre/Basketry Kathryn Crowder is the winner of ten awards for basketry and has had two shows at the Carnegie Gallery in Dundas. Her collection of abstract fishing creels won her a place in the prestigious Looking Forward project juried by Paul Greenhalgh. This honey bee, made from organic material, is a sampling of a series of basketry sculptures for the upcoming show in the main gallery at the Burlington Art Centre in March of 2009.
