The Cat in the Vat Hand dyed and woven fabrics and photo assemblage Temma Gentles visited Aizenkobo this spring, a legendary indigo dyeworks in Kyoto. Master dyer Utsuki-san showed her his raw materials and introduced his mother, son and cat.
