Untitled Mixed media, textiles, free motion machine embroidery, metallic threads Melanie Siegel, Richmond Hill, Ontario has created large felted installations for both public and private schools and has been designated “Artist in Residence” with the York Region School Board. Her most recent work is on exhibit at the Jean Lurcat Museum in Angers, France for the XXI Mini Textile Travelling Exhibition “Avec ou sans Eau.” She has been awarded an endowment fund by The Mayor of Richmond Hill. Melanie recently organized and completed a traveling exhibition with the Pomegranate Guild of Judaic textiles.
