Teatime in the Teapot Fibre and found metal Saskia Wassing-Shepherd is a textile Artist and has long worked primarily with free-machine embroidery, creating framed embroideries, soft sculpture and furniture pieces. Recently, awareness of the urgent need to consume consciously and ethically, has caused a necessary shift in her approach. Today, she often finds the raw materials of my craft in the cast-off abundance of the thrift shops.
