Service animals are welcome at the Textile Museum.
The entrance to the Textile Museum is at street level. A gently sloped granite and brick surface connects the sidewalk and the entrance. The entrance has a vestibule and two sets of doors with automatic door openers.

About the Space
The Textile Museum’s public space is on 4 floors. All levels are accessible by elevator.
Washrooms with a wheelchair accessible stall are available on the 2nd floor, accessible by elevator. The doors to these washrooms have automatic door openers.

One manual wheelchair is available at the front desk, free of charge. No reservation is required but please feel free to call ahead if you wish.
The Textile Museum has a small lecture theatre. The entrance to the theatre is level and the back row is flat with no fixed seating. Staff and volunteers can re-arrange and remove the chairs in this area as needed. The lecture theatre has stairs down to the presenter area at the front of the theatre. A foldable ramp that provides access to the presenter area is available upon request. Visit our Facility Rentals page for images and more information.
The theatre has double doors; when they are both open, the doorway width is 59 inches.

Transit and Parking
The Textile Museum is 150 metres from St Patrick subway station. St Patrick is NOT an accessible station. The closest accessible subway stations are Osgoode (450 metres away) and Queen’s Park (700 metres away).
There is limited street parking available. There are no designated accessible parking spots in close proximity to the Museum.
