The Textile Museum of Canada is located in the heart of downtown Toronto just steps away from City Hall and the Art Gallery of Ontario. We are one block east of University Avenue, south of Dundas Street.

Public Transit Directions

The Textile Museum of Canada is located one block east of St. Patrick Subway Station on the Yonge-University-Spadina subway line (Line 1). Please note that due to construction, the Dundas Streetcar has been replaced with buses in the proximity of the Museum and we do not reccomend taking the bus between Spadina Ave. and Yonge St under further notice.

Parking

There is no Museum parking lot. However, there are several commercial parking lots within walking distance:

  • Northeast corner of Dundas St. and Centre Ave.
  • Municipal lot at the intersection of Chestnut St and Armoury Ave. 
  • Nathan Phillips Square GreenP Lot (accessed from Queen St. W)

Please note: There is currently heavy construction on Dundas St. W due to water main replacement and on Centre St. due to the new court house construction. We do not suggest attempting to park on Centre Ave until the constuction finishes.
