Art Chat: Cape Dorset Printed Textiles

Museum Education and Interpretation Coordinator Anna Richard will share new research into a collection of 181 printed fabrics made by Inuit artists in Cape Dorset, Nunavut in the late 1950s and 1960s. The Textile Museum will mount an exhibition featuring this collection in 2019. Ovilu Tunnillie's "Friendly Whales" print is currently on display in Crosscurrents: Canada in the Making.
