Join Dr. Adrienne Hood–Associate Professor of History at the University of Toronto, textile scholar, and author of Fashioning Fabric: The Arts of Spinning and Weaving in Early Canada–for an intimate look at the social and material history of weaving through the TMC’s collection of nineteenth-century coverlets.
The seminar will take place in the Museum's collections and conservation area. Dr. Hood will share her knowledge on this topic through a carefully curated selection of pieces from our collection.
