Hat

A Quechua man in highland Peru used bicycle spokes as needles to knit this chullo, producing a fine gauge. Take a closer look at the scalloped edges and rows of colourful and complex patterns. Although the Spanish introduced knitting to Peru, the culture had a rich history of textile design and production long before.
