Shepherd's coat

Like sheepskin or fur, this heavy garment serves as an excellent shield from the weather. Long wool strands on the inside provide warmth and comfort to a shepherd who may spend cold nights in the mountains tending to sheep. The fabric is so thick and dense, a wolf or stray dog cannot bite through it.

A cotton-padded jacket made by my grandmother. It is a jacket full of childhood memory. My hometown is well known for its cold weather. There are great differences in temperature during day and night. The jacket keeps me warn all the time, especially when I go out in the evening. It is totally handmade, with patterns of fans and ribbons all over. The padding is very thick, and the cotton lining feels very comfortable.
