Souvenir pillow

This souvenir pillow from the small town of Cabri, Saskatchewan reads “Souvenir of Saskatchewan, Canada, 50 Years of Progress 1905-1955.” The 50 years commemorate Saskatchewan's designation as a province independent of the Northwest Territories. As the growing middle class pursued travel in the late 19th century, souvenir pillows became popular trip mementos.

My most memorable souvenir is a plastic spoon and (clean!) napkin from a gelato place in Italy. They made the most delicious and exaggerant gelato's and it was one of my favourite restaurants we went to in Rome.
