Julia Bryant has been an education volunteer at the Textile Museum of Canada for over 10 years. She has been a part-time textile artist for as long as she can remember, and considers crafts such as crocheting, knitting, tapestry weaving and counted cross stitch as life-long friends. She discovered Afghan/Tunisian crochet almost forty years ago and has been developing and perfecting her skills using the colour inlay technique ever since. Julia creates all of her designs and her work is often embellished with beads, bobbles and embroidery.
